2015 Lee's Sauvignon Blanc
90pts & Editors Choice
Beautiful fruit aromatics including pineapple and tangerine with a floral orange blossom, pine and star anise floral background providing a nice minerality. A richer mouthfeel with a structured acidity allows the tropical fruits develop but never become over powering. A long finish ends with a delicate anise note.
The fruit was handpicked and hand sorted at the Roger's family vineyard on August 19th. The fruit was pressed into neutral oak barrels and fermented. The wine was aged for 4 months in the barrels with occasional stirring of the lees. The wine was bottled in December 2015.
Food Pairing Notes
Oysters, crab, lobster shell fish. The anise in the wine will pair nicely with fennel seeds in sauces.

A beautiful Sauvignon Blanc with a nice bouquet of flowers and citrus. Wonderful, smooth finish. Very drinkable as is or with fish, salads, or summer meals.
