2015 Kenzie Rose
Sorry, this product is sold out even to our Drouthiest of Neebors
The wine exudes sweet strawberries and orange peel with a herbaceous background of thyme and oregano. The mouth feel is soft encompassing with a nice acidic backbone giving the wine structure and depth. A nice citric dry finish balances nicely with the sweeter nose.
The rose was pressed from Syrah picked at the Samantha's vineyard on August 25th. The juice was fermented in neutral oak barrels and aged for an additional 4 months before bottling in December.

My first comment is that you can't give a rose and excellent rating. I mean if you really want the whole wine experience you should expect bolder experiences. But this is an amazing Rose. It's crisp, clean and carries a light fruit flavor. I'd call it a clean peach flavor. Certainly a great choice on a hot summers day. Not excessively sweet or fruity. Just enough. And refreshing!
