Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Ruby red, purple. An delightfully aromatic nose with predominantly Violet and Raspberry, but with hints of Rose and Redcurrants and a little anise in the background. Light tannins and youthful acidity give the palate a food friendly structure and finish. In its youth, this wine will benefit from decanting to allow the aromatics to open and expand the mid palate. The wine will also be good for cellaring for up to 10 - 12 years.

Winemaker Notes
Handpicked on the 24th of September 2009, the fruit spent 20 days on the skins during a native yeast primary fermentation. The wine was pressed and underwent native malolactic fermentation in barrels. The wine spent 12 months in 100% French oak, 20% new, and was bottled on December 22nd 2010.
