Deep ruby purple color. Floral notes of violet and lavender with ripe cherry, raspberry and a background of new leather. A ripe core of cherry and red berries with dark chocolate on the back palate, Darkens and broadens bringing forward darker berries. The youthful acidity maintains ofcus with balanced tannins. Decant for an hour in the first few years and drink within 10 - 12 years.

Hand harvested and sorted in the vineyard. Fruit was de-stemmed and allowed to cold soak before the native yeast fermentations started. The pressed juice underwent native malolactic fermentation in the barrel. The wine was aged in barrel for 14 months in 100% French oak with 20% new oak. The wine was bottled unfiltered and unfined
