GREYWACKE VINEYARD

RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY

This small vineyard is named after the unique Greywacke soil in which it is planted.

This outstanding vineyard is located high up on the eastern side of Black Mountain in the Russian River Valley. A beautiful, secluded vineyard in the north end of the AVA, it is in a sweet spot where there is a cooling fog influence after the heat of the day. The unique microclimate, unusual Greywacke soil, and the steep hilly terrain all promote wines with a beautiful intensity and structure.
