Light straw in color. On the nose, pineapple and passion fruit mixed with lime and tangerine peel. in mouth, a light bodied wine with a pleasant refreshing acidity and a rounder mid palate. The fruit is well balanced with a line of minerality throughout the wine, making it perfect for pairing with seafood.
The Rogers family vineyard was harvest on the 28th of August and was pressed the same day to neutral french oak barrels. The primary fermentation was in the barrels and lasted 10 days. ML fermentation was stopped and the wine was further aged in neutral french oak barrels. The barrels were stirred and the wine was bottled unfined, but filtered.
